Launch to passenger ferry aground

At 13:18, Hoylake Lifeboat was tasked to assist a passenger ferry that had run aground off Eastham Locks in the River Mersey. The lifeboat launched and proceeded to the casualty. A short time later, HM Coastguard stood the lifeboat down as other vessels in the area were assisting the casualty. Hoylake Lifeboat returned to station.
