Hovercraft launched to 4 casualties cut off by mud and tide

Hoylake Hovercraft was tasked by UK Coastguard to reports of four casualties off Leasowe, who were unable to make their way ashore after becoming cut off by mud and the incoming tide. The hovercraft launched and arrived on scene, where the casualties were brought on board by the volunteer crew. The casualties were then taken ashore to waiting Wirral Coastguard Rescue Team officers.
