Hovercraft tasked to dog stuck on embankment

While taking part in a multi-agency mud rescue exercise with Crosby and Southport Coastguard rescue teams, Hoylake Hovercraft was tasked to reports of a dog that had become stuck on an embankment by the Derby Pool pub. As the hovercraft was searching the area, it was reported that the dog had been located by RNLI Wirral Lifeguards and the hovercraft turned back to carry on with the exercise.
