Hovercraft tasked to person stuck in mud on Crosby beach

While taking part in a multi-agency mud rescue exercise with Crosby and Southport Coastguard rescue teams, Hoylake Hovercraft and the Coastguard teams were tasked to a person who had become stuck in the mud on Crosby beach. Using the skills they had been practicing that day, the casualty was recovered onto the hovercraft by the crew and was brought back to the old coastguard station for a check up.
